Evangelism Course

For so the LORD has commanded us: “I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 13:47

  • Evangelism 101

A lot of people think that you can only go on mission trips if you know how to preach! But there are different ways of preaching Christ besides talking about Him! In this session, we will uncover what evangelism really means.

  • How to lead a Christian/Evangelistic lifestyle?

Evangelism isn’t only about going on mission trips, it’s about the day-to-day actions that you do that people can see & feel Christ in you. In this session, we will discuss how we can live this lifestyle.

  • Knowing your Evangelistic Approach.

Different people preach Christ differently. St. Paul was on the intellectual side, while St. Peter was more on the direct side. In this session, we will uncover 6 different approaches that you can use to preach Christ.

  • Characteristics of an Evangelist.

The evangelist must have a specific code of conduct! In this session we will discuss what is that code of conduct and how we can develop those characteristics to make us more Christ-like.

  • How to deal with different beliefs?

We come across people from different beliefs, faiths, backgrounds every day. We are challenged in our faith through social media, through encounters with atheists or non-believers. In this session we will discover how to deal with those situations in a healthy way.

  • Silent Evangelism:

Speaking, preaching, and teaching are great ways of delivering Christ. But there are other situations where your actions would have to speak louder than your words!

  • Cost of Discipleship:

If you decide to follow Christ as He asked of each one of us and serve His brothers and sisters across the world, it comes with a cost. In this session, we will discuss what sacrifices we are asked to make for the sake of Christ.

  • Wounded Healers:

Everyone around us is suffering silently without us knowing. Some people know how to deal with their pain and a lot don’t know how. In this session we will dive deep into the heart of Christ as a wounder healer to learn how to be a healing presence for others around us.

  • Church History- Part 1

In this session, we will cover an overall history of the Orthodox Church and the difference between the Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant Church.

  • Church History- Part 2

In this session, we will dive deeper into our rich history of our Coptic orthodox faith and traditions.
