Hawaii Mission March 24-29, 2025
Under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion, the LA Diocese Mission DOME is excited to host its 7th annual mission trip to Hawaii March 24-29, 2025. We will be serving the island of Oahu and the St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church of Honolulu, through various services, under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion. Leading this mission will be Father Anthony Mikael.

Services include the following:
River of Life
River of Life provides meals for the homeless in the heart of Chinatown every Monday through Friday. Groups helps prepare and hand out meals to lines of people.
Ke Kama Pono Safe House
The Partners in Development Foundation (PIDF) Ke Kama Pono Safe House is a youth residential facility which services at-risk male youth ages 13-17. The young men that are brought into this program have been involved with unsafe activities such as gang involvement, substance abuse, etc.
Next Step Shelter
Next Step Shelter provides a living area and works with different organizations on Oahu to provide meals for their residents. The Hawaiian Mission helps with this project by providing meals for about 125 people. After serving meals, we sit and eat with the residents and have conversations of joy and hope with them.
Westside Alive and Waianae Small Boat Harbor
Westside Alive allows us to participate in praying with and helping clean the homes of the less fortunate. It is a homeless encampment where the group will interact with the people who live there.
Institute for Human Services (IHS)
IHS is the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive human services agency focused exclusively on ending and preventing homelessness in Hawaii by providing meals, shelter, and health services.
Seafarers Service
Seafarers is managed by full time physicians and pharmacists who provide care for the fisherman upon the boats. In addition to providing care, they provide food and the opportunity to minister and spread the faith.
The Pantry
The Pantry, by Feeding Hawaii Together, is the only e-commerce food pantry in the country operating weekly, year-round, to provide free, nutritious food to the families of Hawaii.
Pacific Gateway Center
Pacific Gateway Center serves the disadvantaged population. Their goal is to empower Hawaii’s low-income residents, immigrants, refugees, and other vulnerable populations in rebuilding their lives with hope, respect, and dignity
Fun activities include hiking and beach activities

Once registration info and deposit received, you will be added to a communication group and will be provided with recommended flight info.
Registration is now open! you may select 4 payments of $250 each. The first payment must be submitted with registration by February 15 and final payment is due by March 1st.

Registration is considered complete once you have registered and made First payment of $250 or the full amount of $1,000. Please note that the mission is based on first come first served. If you registered and have not made a payment, you’re not considered registered. Thank you.
Payment
First payment of $250 must be paid to reserve your spot by February 15th. Remaining balance is due by March 1st.
